Importance of Skilling & Education in India

Skilling and education are two sides of one coin. One without the other is just a badge, namesake.  However, the good news is that India is realizing the importance of skilling and education in all areas, whether it is qualification, vocation, or profession.  And it is all for the better.  Education that does not prepare the students to apply what they have learnt in practical life holds no meaning; on the other hand individuals with exceptional skills and flair without backed by formal education leaves them lost. We have suffered enough for lack of application.

We have entire States with a hundred percent literacy rate and yet there is unemployment in those states; people are without jobs. The reason for this is that education alone does not make an individual employable. Education remains a theory, knowledge, a degree unless it succeeds in opening your mind and making you confident to face the world. And this is where skilling has an important role to play.

If India had realized this fact earlier the problem of unemployable youth wouldn’t be so huge! But like they say all things happen in their own time. We can also put it as, that we as a nation are evolving and to compete on the world platform we will need skilling along with education. With just one thing we can’t get too far.

Skilling & Education
Skilling & education strengthen each other and transform individuals into powerhouse of performance; and this is exactly how it ought to be in order to lead from the front in professional life. If you think about it you will realize that education without skilling is incomplete education. Likewise, skilling without backing of education or skilling that is not knowledge based does not stand its ground.

India is on the threshold of everything positive, interesting, and progressive and it is good news that the country as a whole is looking at skilling combined with education and vice-versa.  We are all set to grow, be good leaders, specialists at what we do! Bea part of new India.
